Spring Blogger Meet-Up!

Thanks, Dana...I am your newest follower! 

 I spent the last weekend of my Spring Break getting rejuvenated at the Spring Blogger Meet-Up!  

It was at the fabulous French Lick Resort.  My hubby and I had been at the resort in college for a formal, so it was a little nastalgic.  Here's a little throw back for you! 

When we arrived at the meet-up Holly had everything put together beautifully using Schoolgirl Style's decor.  It was ADORABLE...I cannot wait to use her stuff this fall!

The teacher tool swap was so much fun!  I was lucky enough to get full page labels.  HOW did I not know that these even existed!?  There are endless possibilities here.  Look out color printer, here I come!

Here are my top 3 takeaways from our Tips & Tricks Session:
1.  Instagram is even better than I thought!  Check out the app "A Beautiful Mess" to add images and text on your pictures like the one above.  You can follow me on Instagram  here.
2.  Stop spending time thinking about the perfect topic to blog on and just blog!  Start sharing your experiences in the classroom and the rest will come.
3.  Collaborate.  Never underestimate the power of collaboration, it is an amazing thing!

I love, love, LOVE meeting other teacher-bloggers.  It's so fun to be with people who "get" you.  I had the opportunity to catch up with some old friends, Annie from 20 Something Teacher Tales, Heather from Teaching Through Turbulence, Jenny from Luckeyfrog's Lily Pad, Cierra from Adventures of Room 129 and many more.  I also met some great new friends, Stacey from Teaching Ever After and Mel from Seusstastic are two of my new friends that are pictured below.

    I use my full sheet labels ALL THE TIME!!! YOu will get a lot of use of of those.

    So fun hanging out with you! I think I had the same take aways as you (I may be abusing A Beautiful Mess - oops!), & I've definitely tried hard to remember that I don't have to wait for the 'perfect topic'! Can't wait until our next meet up!
